Who can attend YFC programs and events?
Although our name is Youth For Christ - all students of any background are welcome! We want to hang out, get to know you, and share the life-changing love of Jesus with you!
Most of our youth programs are geared for grades 6 - 12.
Plus, all of our weekly programs are completely free!
I'd like to be a monthly partner. Is that possible?
Absolutely!
You can partner with us through a monthly donation, or you can direct your partnership to a specific ministry or staff member.
There are a couple of ways you can do this:
1) contact your bank and set up monthly withdrawls
2) under our "ways to partner" tab - fill out a partnership card, and we'll handle the rest
3) head on over to our "ways to partner" tab for more details and online options
All gifts (physical or monetary) over $50 will be issued a tax reciept.
Can I rent your facilities?
Yes! Both the Wetaskiwin Youth Centre and the Millet One Accord Centre can be rented out for a variety of occasions: birthdays, baby showers, family reunions, and the like!
Our rates start at $50 an hour, and we can accomodate day and/or weekend rates. Contact us for more details.
Your partnership page says I can support a teen. What does that mean?
Although all of our weekly programs are completely free, some of our events are not. For example, teens wanting to come to our Spring Break Day Camps, or the Tree Hugger Ski Trip have to pay their way. By sponsoring a teen, you can cover the cost of registration for individuals who want to get involved but may be held back by finances.
